Dick Jenkins helped a small contemporary Christian radio station based in Santa Rosa, California become a national network consisting of 239 FM stations and 335FM Translators in 45 states across the country. Jenkin's work has also taken him across the shores to Ireland; he's a member of the board of Spirit Radio. The station will be the first national Christian radio network of its kind in Ireland. As of 2007, Dick Jenkins has been appointed CEO of EMF broadcasting, as well as serving as president and ambassador for EMF at various speaking engagements. His appointment has been well-earned; in 1999, Jenkins coordinated the milestone merger of Air 1 Radio Network with the K-LOVE Radio Network into EMF Broadcasting, making the company as expansive as it is today.
Not only does Jenkins have 33 years experience in radio broadcast, he is an voice of authority in both business and marketing; he worked in the pleasure boating industry as a lobbyist, as well as serving the Director of Sales and Operations for the International Gourmet Food and Wine Show. In radio, Jenkins is a founding member of the Christian Music Broadcasters Association, an organization which has given voice to a new movement in values in broadcast. He has also served for two terms as a board member of the National Religious Broadcasters association.
